Policies for Chick Orders

• Chicks are local pickup ONLY.

• There is a minimum of 3 chicks per order. All orders with less than 3 chicks will be void.

• There will be no refunds after chicks are picked up. All chicks will be sold alive and healthy. We are not liable for chicks once they leave our hands. There will be no refunds issued for gender.

• Chicks are sold as straight run and are not sexed. Please plan accordingly for the possibility of roosters.

• Once you have been notified to pickup chicks, we will hold them for an additional 48 hours. If you have not picked them up by this time frame we have the right to sell your chicks to someone else and refunds will be issued.

• We cannot accommodate large bulk orders. We are a small backyard farm and have a limited number of eggs. Order maximums are determined by the owner based on availability. Please reach out to us through social media or email us at foxlakechickensga@gmail.com with questions.

• There are no guarantees on egg color or breed characteristics for any of our poultry.

• We do not vaccinate our chicks.

 

Policies for Hatching Egg Orders

• Shipping is an additional charge based on quantity, weight, and destination.

• We do not sell less than a half dozen (6 eggs) per order.

• We cannot accommodate large bulk orders. We are a small backyard farm and have a limited number of eggs. Order maximums are determined by the owner based on availability.

• Mystery dozens are extra eggs we have that week and cannot be breed specific based off customer preference.

• Shipping hatching eggs is a risky endeavor. At Fox Lake, we do everything we can do ensure safe travel for every egg that leaves our farm. However, we cannot be liable for anything that happens to eggs once they are placed in the care of the postal service (USPS).

• We cannot guarantee specific hatch rates. We test fertility often at the farm but we cannot be held responsible for the ways in which others incubate and/or hatch their eggs after purchase.

• As always, there are always possibilities for roosters when purchasing hatching eggs and arrangements will need to be made by the customer to accommodate to those.
