Policies for Hatching Egg Orders

• All orders are on a pre-order basis and we will contact you to arrange pickup/shipping once it is your turn in line.

• There will be NO refunds issued after 24 hours of the order being placed.

• Shipping is an additional charge based on quantity, weight, and destination. This cost helps cover shipping AND all the materials necessary so your eggs arrive in the best condition possible.

• We do not sell less than a half dozen (6 eggs) per order.

• We cannot accommodate large bulk orders. We are a small backyard farm and have a limited number of eggs. Order maximums are determined by the owner based on availability.

• Mystery dozens are extra eggs we have that week and cannot be breed specific based off customer preference.

• Shipping hatching eggs is a risky endeavor. At Fox Lake, we do everything we can do ensure safe travel for every egg that leaves our farm. However, we cannot be liable for anything that happens to eggs once they are placed in the care of the shipping carrier (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.).

• We cannot guarantee specific hatch rates. We test fertility often at the farm but we cannot be held responsible for the ways in which others incubate and/or hatch their eggs after purchase. Please use our best practices guide as a reference but note that all climates are different.

• As always, there are always possibilities for roosters when purchasing hatching eggs and arrangements will need to be made by the customer to accommodate to those.

• If purchasing more than 1 dozen hatching eggs, please select the "If more than 1 dozen please select this" shipping option at checkout. Otherwise, you will be sent an invoice for the difference in shipping and your order will not ship until it has been paid.

• If you have dates you wish not to receive your eggs or a specified month you would prefer them to ship, please email us at foxlakechickensga@gmail.com. Remember, this is a request and cannot always be fulfilled but we will do our best.

• Hatching eggs can be shipped via FedEx or UPS if you prefer. However, these requests need to be sent to us through our email at foxlakechickensga@gmail.com. You will be sent an invoice for any additional amounts for using these services and eggs will not be shipped until the invoice has been paid.

• We do not ship additional eggs when they have been damaged by the shipping carrier. As stated above, we do our very best to ensure safe travel and delivery but this is an assumed risk with shipped eggs.
